PHILADELPHIA FEDERATION OF TEACHERS HEALTH AND WELFARE FUND V. ALLERGAN, INC., 1:17-CV-07377 (E.D.N.Y.)

Grabar Law Office serves as co-counsel on behalf of the Philadelphia Federation of Teachers Health and Welfare Fund and all others similarly situated in a nationwide class action against alleging that Allergan maintained an unlawful, illegitimate monopoly for cyclosporine ophthalmic emulsion, a product commonly sold as Restasis.  According to the complaint, Allergan has used the laws and courts of the United States to prevent would-be generic manufacturers of cyclosporine ophthalmic emulsion from entering into and competing in the market for this emulsion.  This civil antitrust action seeks recovery of damages on behalf of the plaintiff and a proposed class of purchasers who bought Restasis indirectly from Allergan at supracompetitive prices.
