Grabar Law Office is investigating potential antitrust claims on behalf of all direct purchasers of empty 510 threaded cartridges at any time since November 16, 2016. 

It is alleged that Shenzhen Smoore Technology Co. Ltd. (d/b/a “Smoore”), the manufacturer of the most popular Vape brand in the United States, CCELL (generically “510 threaded cartridges”) created a "hub-and-spoke" conspiracy between Smoore and its distributors, including Jupiter Research, Greenlane Holdings (and its predecessor, KushCo), 3Win Corp., Canna Brand Solutions, Calyx Labs, Vape Parts Mart, Signature Products, Liquid-Universum, CBD Group, Hamilton Devices, Tilt Holdings, and IStream Group, involving, among other things, minimum resale pricing and no poach agreements. The goal of the conspiracy was to artificially, fix, raise, and maintain the prices of empty 510 threaded cartridges. Because of the nature of this alleged conspiracy, purchases from either Smoore or from one or more of Smore's distributors would qualify as direct purchases.

By unlawfully exploiting its monopoly power to exclude competition, Smoore and its distributors have foreclosed would-be rivals from being able to discipline Smoore’s monopoly power and pricing, and thereby Smoore has been able to charge, and has charged, supracompetitive prices to purchasers of empty threaded 510 cartridges.

If you or your company paid for empty 510 threaded cartridges directly from Smoore or one of its distributors at any time since November 16, 2016, you may have been overcharged and may be able to recover financial damages as well as a court approved service award, if appropriate, at no cost to you.
